Srimangal (Moulvibazar) Representative:
The Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation in Srimangal has rescued a python snake from Srimangal. Locals spotted a python locally in the Khaichhara tea-garden area at midnight on Saturday. They later reported to the Wildlife Services Foundation. Swapan Dev Sajal, director of the Wildlife Services Foundation, rushed to the spot to rescue the snake. From there, the giant python rescued the snake and brought it to the Wildlife Service Foundation.
Sajal Dev, director of the Wildlife Services Foundation, said he rescued the snake after receiving information from locals. He said wild animals are coming out of the forest to the locality in search of food. It is often seen that wild animals are being killed or injured by the unconscious. When some conscious people inform us, we rescue them. This python weighs 13 kg and is about 9 feet long. Sajaldev further said that the python is kept in the Wildlife Service Foundation. Given the time, it will be released to Lauyachhara National Park or Satchhari National Park in consultation with the Forest Department.
