61 thousand Taka fine; 3 trucks dumping in BRTA operation in CTG
Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Mobile Court-12 under Chittagong Division has fined 5 vehicles due to lack of fitness and route permit and dumped 3 vehicles for not updating documents for a long time.
On Saturday (June 22), a mobile court of justice was conducted across Bangladesh at Nayabazar Bishwa Road under Chottogram’s Halishahar police station.
Mishkatul Tamanna, Executive Magistrate of Mobile Court-12 under BRTA Chittagong division, led the operation. Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury, motor vehicle inspector of BRTA Chatta Metro Circle-2 was present there.
It is known that 2 vehicles were fined 30 thousand taka for lack of fitness, 2 vehicles were fined 30 thousand taka for not having route permit. In other cases, 5 vehicles were fined a total of 61 thousand taka, including 1 thousand taka to 1 vehicle.
On the other hand three drum trucks were dumped due to non-renewal of fitness, tax token, route permit for a long time. Chittagong Metropolitan Police and Traffic Police cooperated in the operation. Executive Magistrate Mishkatul Tamanna said that such raids are continuing.
