The effects of coronavirus have started spreading in Moulvibazar district. The infection has also spread to rural areas. People are dying in the village due to corona. Even today, 5 deaths have been reported in the district due to corona symptoms. The dead were residents of the village area. In such a situation, people are indifferent to hygiene. The administration has taken various concerns to enforce lockdowns and strict restrictions. Even after all this, the spread of corona cannot be stopped.
Experts say that if the government does not strictly abide by the announced restrictions, it will have to pay a heavy price in the future.
Meanwhile, the mobile court is working in the field along with a massive campaign every day at the initiative of the district administration to enforce lockdown and strict restrictions. The activities of the law and order forces have not stopped. The administration is playing an active role in all the upazilas including the Sadar upazila of the district. In addition to public awareness campaigns, administration officials are running mobile courts. Law enforcers are also patrolling and campaigning across the district to enforce health rules.
On the seventh day of the lockdown and strict restrictions on Thursday (July 29), under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner and District Wise Magistrate Mir Nahid Ahsan, a mobile court has been conducted in all the upazilas of the district along with public awareness campaign. Magistrates operating mobile courts fined 93 people Tk 53,450 for violating health rules. During this time, members of the army, BGB, police and Ansar battalion assisted the mobile court. The wise magistrate of the district administration at the district headquarters and the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in the upazila town, the Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Aceland) the Upazila Nirbahi Magistrate conducted the mobile court.
Deputy Commissioner and District Wise Magistrate Mir Nahid Ahsan said the district administration would carry out a massive campaign and mobile court teams would work in the field to curb the spread of coronavirus infections and enforce strict restrictions on lockdowns.
