Soon after the incident, the traffic on the highway was stopped. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on both sides. Fire service and police went to the spot and recovered the car and the bodies of the deceased and sent them to the morgue of Sadar Hospital. Later the traffic was normal.

But for fear of a road accident and to restore the family’s financial well-being, they both decided three months ago that they would work for Pran Company. Unable to find any vehicle on Monday morning, Ahad himself left for the company in a CNG autorickshaw belonging to one of his neighbors along with his wife and a few others.
