Staff Reporter: Seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed between Bangladesh and India.
The MoUs were signed at the state guest house Padma in the capital Dhaka on Thursday morning before the meeting of the Prime Ministers of the two countries.
The MoU was signed by the Chief Officers of their respective departments on behalf of Bangladesh and the country’s High Commissioner to Dhaka Vikram Doraiswamy on behalf of Bangladesh.
The MoUs signed are: Outline on Hydrocarbon Cooperation, Cooperation in Agriculture, Cooperation of Bangabandhu Museum with New Delhi Museum, Ensuring Elephant Sanctuary, Launching High Impact Community Development Project, Bangladesh-India Chief Executive Officer Forum’s Barrage Memorandum of Understanding on tripartite purchase of equipment for management development.
Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak, State Minister for Culture Khalid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen were present on the occasion.
