Netrakona Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman visited Atpara Upazila on Tuesday (November 11).
During the visit, Upazila Executive Officer Shahnur Rahman and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tanzina Sharmin Drishti welcomed the Deputy Commissioner with floral greetings.
After the visit, the Deputy Commissioner participated in a meeting with dignitaries, local public representatives, journalists and officials of various government departments at the Upazila Parishad Hall.
The meeting discussed the progress of development activities, improvement of public service activities and ensuring transparency and accountability in government services.
Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shahnur Rahman presided over the function and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tanzina Sharmin Drishti moderated it, Present were Upazila BNP President Alhaj Masum Chowdhury, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, former Upazila BNP President Khairul Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atpara Police Station Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Joint Convener of the District Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Al Akram Khan (Munna), officers and employees of various departments and journalists from various print and electronic media.
Finally, sports equipment was distributed in various schools and tree plantation programs were held.
