Joypurhat Pourashabha distributed 2 dustbins to each house for waste segregation at the household level. The program was inaugurated by Joypurhat Pourashabha Administrator Mohammd Sabur Ali on Wednesday at 11:30 am on Haji Badar Uddin Road in Professorpara Mohalla of Ward No. 5 of the pourashabha.
The chief guest at the dustbin distribution ceremony was held under the overall supervision of Joypurhat Municipality and implemented by Eras Ventures Limited, Pourashabha Administrator Mohammad Sabur Ali distributed dustbins among the local public. Present at the event were Ishaq Ali, Director of Eras Ventures Limited, Zulfikar Ali, Municipal Accounting Officer, Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Assistant Engineer, A. Hashem, Sanitary Inspector, Mamunur Rashid, Conservancy Inspector, Helal Uddin and various officials.
Pourashabha Administrator Mohammad Sabur Ali said that the program was inaugurated today. In stages, we will distribute 2 dustbins to all the houses of the pourashabha. One will be for perishable goods and the other for non-perishable goods. Every day, a vehicle from the municipality will go in front of different houses and bring the garbage and garbage of the houses by blowing a whistle. This will remove the waste from the municipality area. In the future, we will try to give a waste-free and clean city to the people of Joypurhat.
