In Muksudpur, Gopalganj, free seedlings of neem, bell, jam and jackfruit trees have been distributed among students (members of farming families) under the agricultural incentive program for the 2024-25 Kharif-2 season. On Wednesday (June 25) afternoon, a sapling distribution program was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium, organized by the Muksudpur Upazila Agricultural Extension Department. At that time, Muksudpur Upazila Agriculture Officer Bahauddin Sheikh, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Abdul Jabbar, Agriculture Extension Officer Ayesha Siddika, Deputy Assistant Plant Conservation Officer Ruhul Quddus, Muksudpur Upazila Press Club President and Editor of National Weekly Madhumoti Kanth Shahidul Islam, Senior Vice President Mashiur Rahman Mintu Sharif, General Secretary Shariful Roman, Office Secretary of Muksudpur Reporters Unity Badshah Mia and others were present. At this time, 4 saplings were distributed to each of 1,250 students, for a total of 5,000 saplings.
