“Skill Development Training” for Entrepreneurs of Union and Municipal Digital Center in Gopalganj

There is no alternative to acquiring skills through training in any profession. Keeping this theme in mind, the Gopalganj District Administration has inaugurated the “Skill Development Training” workshop for entrepreneurs of Upazila Digital Center and Municipal Digital Center. Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman was present as the chief guest at the day-long training workshop organized at the Municipality Hall on Tuesday (June 24) at 10:30 am. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman advised all entrepreneurs to acquire skills and provide urgent and essential civic services quickly and sincerely. He also provided necessary guidance to those concerned to extend the contract period of all union and municipal digital center entrepreneurs whose contracts have already expired. The training workshop was presided over by Biswajit Kumar Pal, Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) of the Gopalganj Local Government Department and Municipal Administrator. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Salma Parveen, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ataur Rahman, District ICT (Programmer) Officer Akib Md. Sadiqul Islam were present at the training workshop conducted by Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate SM Amirul Mostafa. At that time, Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Programmer Officer, other upazila programmers of the district, and male and female entrepreneurs from various union digital centers of Sadar Upazila were present. Later, Biswajit Kumar Pal, Deputy Director of the Department of Local Government (DDLG), and other officials provided hands-on skills training to the entrepreneurs who participated in the training workshop. It is worth noting that this initiative to provide hands-on training to entrepreneurs of union and municipal digital centers will play a significant role in their workplace. Media workers and civil society leaders believe that this training workshop held in Gopalganj district will be exemplary and a model for other districts of the country.
