Dear HSC and equivalent examination candidates, warm greetings to you all. Your second public examination, the HSC, is set to begin on Thursday, June 26. This examination is a significant milestone in life. It is not just another academic exam but a crucial step toward your future higher education and career. According to the HSC exam schedule for 2025, published and signed by Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haider, Convenor of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee on Wednesday, February 19, this year’s HSC examination will commence with the Bangla First Paper. The theoretical exams will be held from June 26 to August 10, and the practical exams will take place from August 11 to August 21.

You are going through a very important phase in your life. The world itself is like an examination hall. At every step of life, you will face tests and challenges. This time must be approached with utmost confidence and courage. Instead of worrying at the last moment, make the best use of your time. Everyone desires good results. Desired success is achievable only when you give your best. Therefore, your preparation must be excellent.

Key Points to Remember for Doing Well in the Exam:

Candidates must take their seats in the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. You must correctly fill out your exam roll number, registration number, subject code, etc., on the provided answer sheets and OMR forms. Do not write in the margins or fold the answer sheets under any circumstances. Candidates must pass separately in MCQ, Creative/Written, and Practical (where applicable) sections. Always have self-confidence. Believe that you can do it and that you remember everything. Never fall into despair thinking, “Will I remember? Will I be able to write?”

Good results require students to be physically and mentally healthy. Parents should maintain a positive attitude and ensure a supportive environment for study. They must also pay attention to the student’s physical and mental well-being and provide encouragement and support in all good efforts.

Students must maintain regular sleep and healthy eating habits. Be well aware of the exam dates, days, and timings. Stay free from all kinds of stress. Before the exam day, organize all necessary items (admit card, pens, pencils, eraser, scale, calculator, geometry box, etc.) in a transparent white plastic file.

All subjects are important. Give equal attention to every subject. Even at the last moment, practice seriously from the main textbooks. Selecting the right questions and providing accurate answers are both crucial for achieving the desired marks.

Presentation in the answer sheet is very important to attract the examiner’s attention. Leave a margin of 1.5 inches at the top, 0.5 inch at the bottom, 1 inch on the left, and 0.5 inch on the right side of the page. Leave a gap of 1 to 1.5 inches after completing one answer before starting the next. Write neatly and clearly. Avoid overwriting and unnecessary corrections as much as possible. Using black ink ballpoint pens is recommended. Read each question carefully one to two times before answering. It’s better to answer in sequence. It is good practice to write the question number in the middle of the page. Use a watch during the exam. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. No candidate is allowed to bring mobile phones or any electronic devices into the exam hall. Only simple scientific calculators are allowed. Programmable calculators are not permitted. Time management is very important during the exam. Attempt to answer all questions. Allocate time wisely for each question and try to finish writing at least five minutes before time runs out. Reviewing your answer sheet is very important. After completing the answers, review the entire answer sheet carefully. This will help you correct unintentional mistakes and secure your desired marks.
