Ahead of the upcoming thirteenth (13th) national parliamentary elections, BNP National Executive Committee Co-Organizing Secretary Selimuzzaman Selim is regularly engaging with people from different classes and professions in the constituency of Gopalganj-1 (Muksudpur-Kashiani) constituency. As the sole guardian of BNP in this area, Selimuzzaman Selim, the leader of the BNP’s National Executive Committee, has been walking the streets shoulder to shoulder with the workers. Dr. Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, has announced the road map for the upcoming parliamentary elections. After meeting with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in London, he said there is a possibility of holding the 13th parliamentary elections in the second week of February next year. To that end, BNP’s top leaders are spending a busy time campaigning in their respective areas. Selimuzzaman Selim has a large workforce in Muksudpur Upazila. Selimuzzaman Selim is now a familiar face to the voters of this region. Even though other political parties and independent candidates are in the field, this central leader of BNP has kept the voting field hot. Although he was unable to make a strong stand in the election campaign with the paddy sheaf symbol from BNP in 2008, this time he is considered by the general voters of the area to be much more mature in terms of age, political wisdom, and experience than before, and he has a special dominance over the youth community. Muksudpur-Kashiani, BNP National Executive Committee Co-Organizing Secretary Selimuzzaman Selim, is spending a busy time campaigning in various unions and wards with his large workforce. Of course, his campaign is not new, he has been active in the movement to overthrow the dictatorship and fascist government for the past 17 years. Since taking charge of the organizational work not only in Gopalganj but also in greater Faridpur, he has successfully carried out every program announced by the center in Faridpur, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Madaripur and Gopalganj. Voters will cast their votes for Selimuzzaman Selim as an honest, hardworking, and transparent politician. The people of the area are expecting that Selimuzzaman Selim, who won with the symbol of a sheaf of rice, will represent the hardworking people of Muksudpur-Kashiani in the parliament.
