Sri Sri Hari-Gurchand Matua Mission Central Committee meeting held in Orakandi

The general meeting and council session of the Sri Sri Hari-Gurchand Matua Mission Central Committee -1432 was held at Sridham Orakandi in Gopalganj.
The session ended late on Wednesday (June 11). Earlier, at 11 am, the organization’s central office, Shri Dham Orakandi Thakurbari in Kashiani Upazila of Gopalganj, inaugurated the session by lighting the Mangal Pradip (a sacred lamp).
After various day-long events, the general meeting and council session began in the evening under the chairmanship of the organization’s president, Matuacharya Sri Padmanabh Thakur. The blessings were given by the president of Sri Sri Hari-Guruchand Matua Mission Youth Association and International Matua Prachar Mahasangh, Matuacharya Sri Sampad Thakur, and the Matuacharya of Sri Dham Orakandi, Sriman Anshujit Thakur. The main theme was presented by the general secretary of Sri Sri Hari-Guruchand Matua Mission Central Committee, Engineer Shishir Kumar Baral. The welcome speech was delivered by the joint general secretary of the organization, Matua, Sri Debashish Biswas. The program was hosted by the organizing secretary, Matua, Sri Mintu Biswas and Matua, Sri Asim Kumar Majumdar.
Leaders and gurus from various levels of the organization also spoke.
At this time, the President of Purnabraham Sri Sri Harichand Mandir Ramna Dhaka, Adv. Kalipada Mridha, Senior Vice President of Matua Mission Matuaratna Nityananda Majumdar, Matuaratna Dasharath Mandal, Matuaratna Shankar Gosai and other senior leaders were present. After the session, the newly formed central committee of the organization was announced at 2 am. The newly elected committee consisting of 501 members including President Matuacharya Sri Padmanabh Thakur, Executive President Matua Matua Mata Smt. Subarna Thakur, General Secretary Engineer Shishir Kumar Baral, Joint General Secretary Matua Sri Debashish Biswas and five organizational secretaries Matua Mintu Biswas, Matua Sri Asim Kumar Majumdar, Matua Sri Asim Kumar Pal, Matua Sri Chandan Bar and Matua Smt. Shiuli Rani Roy was announced.
On this day, a large number of Matua devotees thronged the Orakandi Thakur house. Devotees from various district committees of the organization gathered there. The Matuas arrived in droves, playing the Kash Danka. To attain merit, they took a bath in the Kamna Sagar pond there and paid homage at the Harichand-Gurchand temple. Various arrangements including puja parvan and distribution of prasad were held there throughout the day. Sri Sri Hari Sangeet and Maha Sankirtan were performed by Matua Ratna Sri Sadananda Baral, Sri Dasharath Mandal, Sri Haripada Dhar and Sri Bimal Krishna Mridha. Poetic songs were performed by the folk poet Matua Sri Tanmay Biswas and his team.
