Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the conclusion of the month-long basic training course and cultural program for members of the village police force of the Union Parishad in Muksudpur, Gopalganj. He also said that the law enforcement forces of the current interim government are determined to restore the people’s right to vote. We want to give the gift of a transparent election. Those who have undergone training are now knowledgeable and capable. Let us make sure that we can put this training to good use. The upazila administration organized the event in collaboration with the National Institute of Local Government (NILG) on Wednesday (June 4) morning at the Muksudpur Upazila Parishad auditorium. The event, chaired by Muksudpur Upazila Executive Officer Tasnim Akhter, was attended by District Police Superintendent Md. Mizanur Rahman, Gopalganj Local Government Department Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) Biswajit Kumar Pal, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mostafa Kamal, and Upazila Youth Development Officer Sayed Uddin Ahmed Miraj. Moderated by Upazila Assistant Education Officer SM Mahatab Uddin, among others, speakers included Chowkidar Sabuj Contractor of Kashalia Union Parishad, Chowkidar Nitish Chandra Sarkar of Banshbaria Union Parishad, and others. At the end of the discussion, the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman, presented certificates and crests of honor to 40 trainees. At this time, other executive magistrates of the Gopalganj district administration, officials of various departments of Muksudpur upazila, respected imams of various mosques in the upazila, media personnel working in various print and electronic media in the district and upazila, and members of the village police force who participated in the basic training were present.
