19 candidates from Moulvibazar district have been initially selected for the post of Police Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) in Moulvibazar. The names of the 19 initially selected candidates were announced by the President of the Recruitment Board and Moulvibazar District Superintendent of Police M, K, H, Jahangir Hossain, PPM-Seva, at the Moulvibazar Police Lines Drill Shed on Thursday (May 29) afternoon. Of the 19 people selected, 1 was from the tribal quota and 18 were from the general quota. Among them, 3 are women and 16 are men. Recruitment Board President and Police Superintendent M, K, H, Jahangir Hossain said, ‘We have completed this recruitment process with the utmost professionalism. Everyone selected here has been included among the 19 people based on their talent and qualifications. We expect everyone to work with integrity in your workplace. During this time, the initially selected candidates were given a sweet face by the district police and greeted with flowers. After three stages of physical fitness screening, 281 candidates participated in the written examination on May 20, 2025. Candidates who passed the written exam participated in psychological and oral tests today (May 29). Additional Superintendent of Police (Habiganj) Mohammad Atiqul Haque, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sylhet) Md. Rafiqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Asif Mohiuddin, PPM and other police officers and employees engaged in the recruitment process were also present during the announcement of the results.
