There is no substitute for on-the-job training. Modern and technology-based training at the individual level is essential for the proper performance of professional responsibilities. Training plays a very important role in making oneself skilled and competent in every field of work. In continuation of this, a day-long training workshop has been organized by Gopalganj Public Works Zone under the 60 (sixty) hours of internal training. The day-long training workshop, held from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday (May 27) at the conference room of Gopalganj Public Works Zone, was officially inaugurated by Md. Khalequzzaman Chowdhury, Additional Chief Engineer of Gopalganj Public Works Zone. He, along with other trained and experienced senior officers of the zone, provided hands-on training to all the trainees who participated in the training workshop. Earlier, Gopalganj Public Works Zone Executive Engineer (Staff Officer) Nahid Afroz delivered brief speeches, while Gopalganj Public Works Zone Superintendent Engineer Md. Bahadur Ali, Gopalganj Public Works Department Executive Engineer Swarnendu Shekhar Mondal, E/M (P&D) Department Executive Engineer Abu Sufian Limon and others delivered brief speeches. In this day-long training workshop, all the engineers, officers and employees working in the Gopalganj Public Works Zone and Division participated online (Zoom meeting) including Rajbari District Public Works Department Executive Engineer Md. Moniruzzaman, Faridpur District Public Works Department Executive Engineer Md. Saifuzzaman, Shariatpur District Public Works Department Executive Engineer Sharmin Akhter and Madaripur District Public Works Department Executive Engineer Shahriar Hossain, Gopalganj Public Works Department Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil) Sameer Kumar Kundu, Sub-Divisional Engineer (E/M) Tanmoy Karmakar, Assistant Engineer Md. Mohiuddin Hasan, Deputy Assistant Engineer Antu Kumar Saha, Hirak Biswas, Senior Account Assistant (Cashier) Raiz Ahmed, Senior Account Assistant Chinmoy Samaddar, Office Assistant cum-Computer Typist Gazi Aminul Haque, Sheikh Monirul Islam and other engineers, officers and Employees participated.
