A 2-day workshop on child welfare planning has been held in Debhata. The workshop was organized by the Debhata Area Program funded by World Vision Bangladesh at the meeting room of the Upazila Model Mosque on Sunday and Monday (May 25 and 26). The next 5-year plan was discussed in this workshop. The participants voted and gave their opinions on various problems of the union. The workshop was chaired by Debhata AP Manager Lablu Khan and was attended by Parulia UP Chairman Golam Faruk Babu, Sakhipur UP Chairman Saiful Islam, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Sajedul Islam, Upazila Family Planning Officer Dr. Mainul Hossain, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Nasrin Jahan, Upazila Academic Supervisor Mizanur Rahman, World Vision Bangladesh’s Debhata Sushil Program Manager Mamun Hossain, Sponsorship Officer Hero Gyne, Junior Program Officer Mukta Sarkar, Sushil Deputy Director GM Moniruzzaman, CDO Mizanur Rahman, Asaduzzaman Ripon, Josna Bala, Niladri Biswas along with technical personnel from Khulna and Paikgachha AP were present. The two-day workshop was conducted by World Vision Bangladesh’s Field Program Quality Specialist Subhash Mandal. It is worth noting that this workshop was held as part of the plan for what World Vision Bangladesh’s Area Program will do in Debhata Upazila from 2026 to 2030. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Asaduzzaman delivered a speech as the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
