Manger stabbed to ban child labour

The location of this establishment without the signboard “ROSE THREAT TWISTING” is right next to Mir Auliya Shrine under Akbarshah Police Station, Bagan Bari, NR Gate.
The main driving force of the family business of three siblings was one man, whose intelligence and strategy enabled this business to sell yarn worth about 50 lakh taka per month. He is none other than Md. Rana, the manager of this establishment.
After a year of tireless work and bringing the organization to its feet, the owner no longer needed Md. Rana. The owner tried to get Rana out of the organization through various tricks, and even tried to murder him over a certain incident, alleged the former manager of this establishment, Md. Rana.
The owner allowed Rana to hire workers, but the story took a turn from here, because speaking against child labor is like talking about the manager’s run, not only that, but Rana had to be repeatedly slandered and humiliated when talking about the basic rights of workers, such as wages and bonuses. In the past, the owner had hired child laborers, with whom it was basically challenging to manage the work properly.
Rana had to hear harsh words for recommending the hiring of skilled workers over the age of 18 instead of child laborers.
The plan to terminate the job began right then, and a goon was hired from outside the company to kill him. According to this plan, on March 12 at 9 am, five or six unknown people stabbed Rana on his way home after the night shift at the office. Md. Rana claimed that this was done by the owner. When investigating the reason behind this, it was found that when he recovered slightly, the owner directly forbade him from doing office work, and even though the workers were supposed to be laid off with 3 months of salary and bonus arrears according to the labor law, the owner’s people did nothing.
When we went to the ground and asked the people of the area, they said to us that someone suddenly stabbed Rana and ran away. No case was filed in this regard, maybe the law was also tied to money. That time When a witness saw the stabbing incident at the funeral, he called 999 and the police came, but no case was filed due to the owner’s intervention. When Rana talked about the case, the owner’s party went to Rana’s house to scold him for keeping quiet about it.
However, Rana said that he will take legal action when he recovers a little.
When contacted “Babu”, head of the “Roses threat twisting” one of the owner’s party, on his mobile phone, he said, “I am not obliged to answer your questions.” When asked whether child labor is practiced, he repeatedly avoided answering the question.
He is not obliged to answer the question of whether there is child labor in his organization, he repeatedly tries to evade the question,
and the reporter finds it pointless to ask him about anything else. The issue of child labor was confirmed on the spot, and the CCTV footage of the organization is enough to prove it. But at one point, he said that we are running the organization in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Shipon Chowdhury, Deputy Director of the Chittagong Department of the Factory Inspection Department, said that in our law, a child means a child under the age of 14 “not to do any kind of work” and 14 to 18 are teenagers who can do some light work by following some rules.
However, he assured the news media, given by the bureau chief of The Daily Morning Glory, that if any such illegal work is done, we will definitely take action, and if such factory activities are carried out without nameplates by renting different houses, it becomes difficult to trace them, in which case the news media acts as our big source.
Without Nameplate Such type of factory still able able doing their work around Pahartali, barokoyatar, Monsurabad, dewanhat, Abulbidi circle and some of local residential area, but we Don’t have no allegation at all that type of factory/organisations. that why we did not able to expose them.
