Latiful Azam, Kishoreganj (Nilphamari)

With the theme of “Ending Plastic Pollution”, a discussion meeting, rally and tree plantation program were inaugurated in Kishoreganj, Nilphamari on the occasion of World Environment Day celebration. On Monday afternoon, the program was inaugurated at the Ranchondi School and College ground, organized by the Upazila administration and in collaboration with Bangladesh World Vision Kishoreganj AP. The program was presided over by Sagor D Costa, Manager of Bangladesh World Vision Kishoreganj AP, and Upazila Executive Officer Mousumi Haque was present as the chief guest. Also present were Upazila Social Service Officer, Zakir Hossain, Principal of Ranchondi School and College Mukul Hossain, Panel Chairman of Ranchondi Union, Mainul Haque, Junior Program Officer of Kishoreganj AP, Anwar Hossain. It is worth mentioning that 200 Jat Neem saplings were distributed among the students of Ranchondi School and College. Later, a colorful bicycle rally was held.
