Distribution and activation of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) Smart Family Cards among beneficiaries was held in Gopalganj. (May 23) At 11 am, the event was organized by the Gopalganj District Administration and the Municipal Council at the Municipality Conference Room. Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman was present as the chief guest. Biswajit Kumar Pal, Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) of the Local Government Department and Gopalganj Municipal Administrator, presided over the TCB’s Smart Family Card distribution ceremony. The event, moderated by Gopalganj Municipality Executive Officer SM Rakibul Islam, was attended as special guests by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Golam Kabir, Executive Magistrate Shahriar Ahmed, District Primary Education Officer Md. Josna Khatun, and Sadar Police Inspector Md. Matiar Rahman. At that time, the municipality’s social development officer Md. Zulfiqar Ali Mollah, personal assistant to the municipal administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Lablu, chief assistant officer Nadu Gopal and other officials and employees, nearly a thousand beneficiaries, and media workers working in various electronic and print media in the district were present.
