Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Association has organized a human chain program in Jaldhaka, Nilphamari to achieve the 4-point demands of drug traders. This human chain was held simultaneously across the country as part of the central program. On Thursday (May 22) morning, the human chain was organized by the Jaldhaka Upazila branch of Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Association at Zero Point intersection in the city. Upazila President of Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Association Mahbubar Rahman Moni spoke at the event. The 4-point demands include increasing the drug sales commission, quickly withdrawing and replacing expired drugs, stopping the supply of drugs by drug companies to pharmacies without drug licenses, and fixing the prices of all drugs by the government.
All legally licensed drug dealers of Jaldhaka Upazila were present at the human chain.
