World Metrology Day-2025 was celebrated in Gopalganj

On the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner “Swachhta” on Tuesday (May 20) morning.

“Measurement is for everyone at all times” – The discussion meeting was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Gopalganj Md. Golam Kabir and special speeches were given by the Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad Amit Debnath, Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Administration) Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, Assistant Director (CM) and Office Head of BSTI Gopalganj Govinda Kumar Ghosh, Assistant Director (Metrology) Billal Hossain, Gopalganj correspondent of the daily Jawabdihi newspaper Mohammad Mahmud Kabir Ali, Gopalganj correspondent of Boishakhi TV Sheikh Mustafa Zaman, journalist Shahid Chowdhury, Convener of BAJUS Gopalganj branch Kalam Chowdhury, among others. The discussion meeting was moderated by BSTI Gopalganj Inspector Tasneem Doha.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of Gopalganj, Madaripur and Shariatpur Businessmen from various upazilas of the district, owners of various factories and shops were present.
