Md. Kamrul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge of Barhatta Police Station, has been selected as the best Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the District Police. The monthly crime review meeting of the Netrokona District Police for the month of April 2025 was held at the conference room of the Netrokona District Police Superintendent’s Office on Sunday. At the meeting, Superintendent of Police Mirza Sayem Mahmud presented the PBM Best OC with a commemorative crest and award. He earned this honor for his special contribution to maintaining the overall law and order situation of Barhata Police Station in April 2025, including the arrest of warranted suspects, recovery of narcotics, maintenance of law and order, and resolution of cases. He has also been praised for his commendable role in maintaining public safety and law and order. When asked about his feelings after receiving the award, Barhatta Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Kamrul Hasan said, “It is my responsibility and duty to serve the people. I try to fulfill that responsibility.” Such awards increase the passion for work many times over. For this, I thank my respected guardian, the District Superintendent of Police, Sir, and all the police officers working at the police station. This achievement has been possible due to their collective efforts. He said, “I pray that with the love of everyone, the image of the police department will shine brighter by working better with renewed enthusiasm and I seek everyone’s cooperation to maintain its continuity in the future.”
