Former district Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Advocate Ajmal Hossain Sardar held a public meeting in Gopalganj. He held this mass meeting in different areas of Kathi and Majhigati unions of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila at 4 pm on Saturday (May 17). Accompanied by party leaders and activists, he visited various shops in Kathi and Majhigati markets, exchanged greetings with ordinary traders and customers, and inquired about their welfare. During the mass address, he said, “We must all work together in the future to establish unity and solidarity among all, regardless of race, religion, or caste, from the ongoing crisis in the country and to build a strong and stable Bangladesh.” He urged everyone to remain united and work together in the future. At that time, Advocate Ahmed Hossain Sardar, former Ameer of the Gopalganj district branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and current Faridpur region supervisor, and Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Jamaat Secretary Kazi Izhar Mohibullah were among those present. Later, more than a hundred people, including former Kathi Union Parishad chairman Nasir Uddin, filled out forms supporting Jamaat-e-Islami.
