The development work of the 905-meter-long road from Joypurhat Sugarmills road to Bulupara Charkatli road under ward No. 01 of Joypurhat pourasabha has been auspiciously inaugurated.
The road construction work was inaugurated in the afternoon by Joypurhat pourasabha Administrator and Deputy Director in Charge of Local Government Department Mohd. Sabur Ali.
Present at the time were Joypurhat pourasabha civil engineer Abu Jafar Md. Reza, joint convener of Water Resources Abdul Wahab, deputy assistant engineer of the pourasabha Mazianur Rahman.
The project is being implemented by the engineering department of Joypurhat pourasabha through Sobhan & Brothers under the Local Government COVID-19 Response and Recovery Project (LGCRRP) – World Bank-funded project at a cost of about Tk 38 lakh.
