Keeping in mind the theme “We will win in knowledge and science, we will be the best in the world”, the inaugural ceremony of the three-day ’46th National Science and Technology Week and Science Fair 2025′ was held at the Datta High School in the district town on Wednesday morning, organized by the district administration.

The event was presided over by Datta High School President and Additional Deputy Commissioner for Education and ICT Shamima Yasmin.

The event was inaugurated by the acting headmaster of Datta High School, Md. Mojibur Rahman, while the chief guest was the Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Banani Biswas.

Among others, the acting District Education Officer, Md. Kamruzzaman, the headmaster of Netrakona Government Girls High School, Swapna Rani, and officials of educational institutions and various departments of the district and upazila, as well as leaders and employees of socio-cultural organizations were present.

The esteemed Deputy Commissioner gave a guiding speech to the young scientists.

After the inauguration, he visited the stalls of the science fair and encouraged them by interacting with them.
