Exchange of views on Beat Policing in Netrakona to build a society free from drugs, terrorism, and child marriage

An awareness-raising meeting was held to create a society free from drugs, terrorism, militancy, juvenile crime, cybercrime, violence against women, eve-teasing and child marriage in the district. Netrokona Model Police Station organized this exchange of views meeting under the 13th BIT Policing Program, consisting of Wards 1, 2 and 3 of the municipality, on Wednesday afternoon, May 14, in the conference room of the high school. Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Swajal Kumar Sarkar spoke as the chief guest at the exchange of views, chaired by Netrokona Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Shah Newaz.
Among others who spoke at the exchange of views were Abdullah Al Mamun Khan Rony, former 1st Senior Vice President of the District Jubo Dal and Paddy Sheesh nominee for the post of Mayor of Netrokona Municipality, Mahbubul Gaffar Thakur Tolon, former VP of Netrokona Government College Student Union, Hasnat Hasan Saikat, former AGS Hasnat Hasan Saikat, District BNP member Kawsar Ahmed, Assistant Headmaster at the school Shahnur Kabir Munna, General Secretary of the District Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front Shyamal Bhowmik, former Councilor of Ward No. 1 Abul Kalam Khokon, former Councilor Golam Mostafa, Joint General Secretary of the District Volunteer Dal Shariful Alam Sabuj, Ward No. 1 BNP President Akram Ullah, Ward No. 2 BNP President Md. Shahjahan, Ward No. 3 BNP President Helim Talukder and a few students. At the exchange of views, the speakers called on everyone to play a responsible role from their respective positions in building a beautiful society free from drugs, terrorism, eve-teasing, and child marriage in Netrokona Municipality.
