Month-long Handloom and Cottage Industries and Trade Fair 2025 has been inaugurated with the aim of popularizing domestic handloom and cottage industries among the people and creating entrepreneurs. The fair was inaugurated by Netrokona Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. on Tuesday at the Joynagar Dutta High School ground in the district town. District BNP member Md. Mukhlesur Rahman Khasru, chairman of Netrokona Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. Acting president of the municipal BNP Md. Meherul Alam Raju, president of the Singher Bangla Union BNP Md. Abdur Razzak, joint general secretary of the district Krishak Dal Tariqul Alam Jamal, convener of the Sadar Upazila Jubo Dal Faruk Ahmed, member secretary Rajan Ahmed, former student leader Shahid Ullah Bahar Masum, former student leader Md. Hillul, vice-president of the district Chhatra Dal SM Delwar Hossain, member secretary of the Sadar Upazila Sechchhasebak Dal Md. Masum Mollah, leader of Ward No. 7 BNP Saleh Ahmed Khan, member secretary of the Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal Md. Golam Rabbi, and leaders of the district and upazila, municipal BNP and allied organizations were also present.
