Protest Rally at Comilla University Against Gaza Attacks

A protest rally has been organized at Comilla University (CoU) by the Revolutionary Unity Alliance (Biplobi Oykojote) in response to the recent attacks and brutal killings in Gaza by Israel. The rally commenced on Wednesday (March 19) after the Zuhr prayer from the university’s central mosque and concluded at the main gate.
During the rally, protesters chanted slogans such as “Free Free Palestine,” “Israel is the Genocide,” “Long Live Palestine,” and “Occupation is a Crime,” condemning Israel’s barbaric actions.
Expressing his outrage, an English student Abir Raihan, stated, “They have imposed war, violating the highest standards of humanity. Innocent children are being killed before their lives even begin. If we Muslims do not unite today, they will erase Muslims worldwide tomorrow. Jews and Christians are conspiring together to destroy Islam. My fellow struggling Muslims, unite and raise your voices.”
Azhar Uddin, a Statistics student, added, “While we peacefully observe Ramadan with other Muslims worldwide, our Palestinian brothers are being bombed, their homes destroyed. Among the vast Muslim population, only a few are protesting.”
It is noteworthy that Israel had agreed to a ceasefire with Hamas on January 19. But, on March 19, they violated the agreement and launched indiscriminate attacks on sleeping civilians in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of at least 404 innocent Palestinians.
