The National Primary Education Medal Competition 2025 was held and the awards were distributed in Kumarkhali, Kushtia. (February 19) Sports and cultural competitions and awards were held throughout the day on Wednesday at the Tebaria Serkandi Government Primary School grounds. Organized by the Upazila Administration and Primary Education Office, Kumarkhali, Kushtia, the chief guests at the event were Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) SM Mikail Islam, Upazila Education Officer Mustafizur Rahman, Assistant Education Officer Shariful Islam, Assistant Education Officer Zillur Rahman, General Secretary of the Central Teachers’ Association Joynal Abedin, Upazila Scout Commissioner Md. Abdul Halim, Joint General Secretary of the Upazila Teachers’ Association Md. Atiar Rahman, Organizing Secretary Noor Alam Siddiqui. In the Primary Education Medal Competition, the selected students participated in various sports including 50-meter race, long jump, biscuit race, tennis ball throw, high jump, cricket ball throw, balance race, arithmetic race and others. A total of 20 events were held in this sports competition with the participation of students from different schools. After enjoying the cultural and sports competitions with the participation of the students, the guests handed over the prizes to the winners. At this time, the teachers of the school, students and prominent people of the area were present.
