Newly appointed Bandarban Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramony unveiled the team jersey of the first professional running community hill runners based in Bandarban based Marathon. The team jersey of the Hill Runners Community was unveiled at its office on Tuesday (February 11).Chief Advisor of Bandarban Hill Runners and Member Secretary of Bandarban District Sports Development Forum Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal),founder Jobair Hossain,team leader abdullah al numan were present at the time along with team member. the new upazila executive officer said, only sports can keep our new generation away from the aggression of drugs.Bandarban Sadar Upazila Administration will cooperate wholeheartedly in the future as in the past to promote sports.at the time UNO congratulated the members of Bandarban Hill Runners and urged them to continue their studies along with sports. at the same this occasion,Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramony the newly appointed Upazila Nirbahi Officer was congratulated withe flower by the Bandarban District Sports Development Forum.It should be noted that Marufa Sultana Khan a BCS 35 batch officer,took charge as Bandarban Sadar Upazila Executive Officer last Sunday (February 9).
