SM Humayun Kabir, Cox’s Bazar
The convening committee of the TV Journalists Association, the main organization of television journalists in Cox’s Bazar, has been formed. A convening committee has been formed with Banglavision’s Cox’s Bazar staff reporter Morshedur Rahman Khokon as the convener, R TV’s district representative Saifur Rahim Shaheen as the joint convener, and Mohona Television’s district representative Amanul Haque Babul as the member secretary. This committee was formed based on the direct opinions of the members present at the organization’s annual general meeting. Other members of the announced committee are N TV staff reporter Ikram Chowdhury Tipu, ATN Bangla district representative Moazzem Hossain Shakil, Bijoy TV district representative Md. Shah Alam, Channel S district representative Mohammad Ayash Rony, Ananda TV district representative Este Faruk, Asian Television district representative Mohammad Sheikh Selim, Global Television district representative Rahidul Kabir, Bangla TV district representative Aminul Haque Amin and Nagorik TV Cox’s Bazar district representative Saiful Islam. The announced convening committee will formulate a complete constitution through a democratic process within the next 6 months and take steps to hold elections. The members of the formed committee have expressed the opinion that all TV journalists working in Cox’s Bazar district can become members of this organization. Interested representatives are requested to contact the convening committee and collect the membership admission form by March 15 after paying the prescribed fee.
