Journalist and organizer Sohag Arefin was awarded the best organization at the Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh (TRAB) Award-2025.

He is serving as the central organizing secretary of the Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Union.

He was presented with this award at the Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on the occasion of the ’26th TRAB Award-2025′.
Since 2009, in addition to journalism, he has been involved in journalist organizations and various social organizations. In addition to being the organizing secretary of BMUJ, he has also been serving as the president of the Chittagong Reporters Association and the Chittagong divisional head of the social organization Durbar Taranya.
All over Bangladesh, Sohag Arefin has rushed to the rescue of journalists, been the victim of attacks and cases.
Sohag Arefin’s popularity in the Trinamool journalist arena is huge.
Expressing gratitude for the award,
Sohag Arefin said, “I am very overwhelmed and grateful to everyone for awarding me this honor.
As you know, Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Union works to achieve the rights of journalists.
It provides legal assistance to journalists when they are attacked.
We have also formed the Chittagong Reporters Association (CRA) with professional journalists.
He also said that journalists are going through a difficult time and now is the time for everyone to unite and stand up.
