We want to build a country without discrimination: ATM Masum

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum said, “By achieving self-purification, we want to build a country in which there will be no discrimination. There will be no extortionists, miscreants and corrupt people. People of all religions and castes will live together on the basis of equal rights. They will strive to develop the country through patriotism. Through this, it will be a welfare-oriented country.” He said these things while speaking as the chief guest of the education camp held at the Kazi Shamsur Rahman Auditorium of Al Amin Trust in the city at 11:30 am on Saturday (December 8). The day-long education camp for members of the Upazila Working Committee and Majlis Shura, initiated by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Satkhira District Branch, will start at 8 am and will continue till 6 pm. The special guests at the training camp were Jamaat’s Central Executive Council member Principal Muha Izzat Ullah, Central Organizing Secretary and Khulna Region Director Muhaddis Abdul Khalek, Central Shura member and former Ameer of Satkhira Jamaat Muhaddis Rabiul Bashar. The training camp was chaired by Satkhira Jamaat Ameer Vice Principal Shahidul Islam Mukul and conducted by Assistant Secretary Professor Obaidullah. Among others, District Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Sheikh Nurul Huda, Dr. Mahmudul Haque, Assistant Secretary Mahbubul Alam, Professor Omar Faruk, District, Office Secretary Maulana Ruhul Amin and other district and upazila level officials were present. The chief guest at the training camp, Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, while giving a discussion on self-purification, said, “Tazkiya is self-purification, inner purity, spiritual development, character excellence, etc. Especially freedom from negative qualities of human character, such as lust, wrong desires, slander, lies, jealousy, envy, self-promotion, self-arrogance, stinginess, etc. The real success of a believer depends on this Tazkiya. He quoted verse 9 of Surah Ash-Shams of the Holy Quran and said that Allah Almighty says: ‘Truly successful are those who have achieved self-purification.’ Tazkiya is a unique path to achieving goals in the life of a believer, which helps people reach the peak of development. He said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is working to achieve that self-purification.
