He said these things while inaugurating a day-long free eye care camp organized by the BNP at the Gujirkona High School ground in Bakaljora Union of Durgapur Upazila of Netrakona on Saturday morning. Since Saturday morning, candidates have been flocking to the Gujirkona High School ground for treatment.
3,000 patients registered with eye problems. To ensure eye care for the patients, doctors from Dr. K. Zaman BNSB Eye Hospital, Mymensingh provided services throughout the day. Each of them was provided free glasses along with medicines. Free cataract surgery will be performed after identifying the patients. Throughout the day, leaders of BNP and its affiliated organizations fully supported this medical camp.
The common people of the upazila are happy with such an arrangement.
