Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is ready to give the interim government the time it needs to organize and reform the administration and hold elections, said Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar. He also requested the current government to quickly announce a possible date for the election. In his speech, he also said that the murderer Hasina is plotting a new conspiracy against Bangladesh with the help of the BJP government sitting in India. Fascist Hasina is once again making provocative statements in India to create a communal riot in Bangladesh. Because of this provocation, student mobs have attacked and vandalized houses in 35 districts of the country, including Dhanmondi. He made these remarks as the chief guest at a huge district workers’ conference organized by the Netrokona District Jamaat-e-Islami on Saturday afternoon (February 8) for the first time in 17 years. At that time, he also said that attacks are still taking place in various parts of the country due to anger over the oppression, torture, and torture that was inflicted on the people of the country during Hasina’s rule. He called on party leaders and activists, as well as the student population, to remain calm to maintain law and order in the country. Under the chairmanship of Netrokona District Jamaat Ameer Professor Maulana Sadek Ahmad Haris and under the direction of District Jamaat Secretary Professor Maulana Mahabubur Rahman and Assistant Secretary Professor Masum Mostafa, the district workers’ conference at the historic Moktarpara ground in the district town was addressed by, among others, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and Propaganda Secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, Central Organizing Secretary and Mymensingh Regional Director Dr. Chamiul Haque Farooqui, Central Working Committee member Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan, former district Ameer Professor Mao. Enamul Haque and various leaders of Netrokona district and upazila. Earlier, since the morning, party leaders and activists had come to the rally venue in separate processions from different upazilas and municipal areas of the district. After the conference in the afternoon, Sayumum and the Metropolitan Art Group presented a delightful cultural program.
