Dr. Shahadat Hossain at the inauguration ceremony of BCCUL Hospital in Raozan

Patients go abroad because doctors do not give time properly
CCC Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain has commented that patients go abroad because doctors in the country do not give time properly.
He said, Bangladeshi doctors are very experienced and educated. Since we cannot give time to patients, our patients are going abroad. If doctors see 20 to 25 patients instead of many patients. And if each patient can be given 20 minutes of time, then only the patient’s real disease condition can be known and good treatment can be given.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of BCCUL General Hospital at Haji Maqbul Tower in Pahartali Chaumuhani, adjacent to CUET under Raozan Upazila on Friday (February 7) afternoon.
Addressing the new hospital authorities of Raojan, Shahadat Hossain said, “Inaugurating a hospital is not a big deal, maintaining the quality of the hospital is a big deal. Everyone should make efforts to maintain the quality of the hospital.”
He said, “Those of you who built the hospital, you should maintain the quality of this hospital. Most of our patients from here go to India, so that patients do not have to go to India, increase the quality of service in your hospital.”
Stating that the villagers have benefited from bringing a dialysis machine to Raojan, he said, “This is the first dialysis machine in Raojan, I like it very much. It will benefit the villagers. Also, there are NICU centers for children in several places in the city, but not in the villages. It is in Raojan, this is a wonderful initiative you have taken.”
Commenting on the need to fulfill the rights of the people, the CHSIK Mayor said, “Education, health, clothing, medical treatment, these are the rights of the people. These rights that we have not received so far, we have to ensure. Now, all of us who are here, we have to give people their rights properly.” If we think like before that seeing their rights being taken away, we will also take away their rights, it will not happen. We have to come out of this thinking. After that, we have to establish this city by uniting. Only then will we be able to establish a democratic state.
