Kazi Shah Newaz, the officer-in-charge of Netrakona Sadar Model Police Station, has been selected as the best officer-in-charge (OC) of the district for the second time.He was selected as the best officer for his special contribution to drug recovery, case settlement, smuggling prevention, warrant Tamil, beat policing, and above all crime review and law and order maintenance at the monthly crime meeting of January at the District Police Lines on Thursday afternoon.On the other hand, the best were Assistant Police Superintendent of Durgapur Circle Al Imranul Alam, Police Inspector (Unarmed) of Shyamganj Police Investigation Center (IC) of Purbadhala Police Station Mohammad Nurul Alam.The best SIs were selected were Md. Abdul Jalil of Netrakona Model Police Station, Md. Rajan Mia of Kalmakanda Police Station, Md. Mahmudul Hasan of Police Superintendent’s Office (Crime Branch), Md. Asaduzzaman and the best ASI was selected, Md. Sujan Mia of Netrokona Model Police Station.Later, the Assistant Superintendent of Police, (OC), SI and ASI who were officially selected as the best in Netrokona Police Lines, were officially presented with the crest and certificate of honor by Superintendent of Police Mirza Sayem Mahmud (PPM).Additional Superintendent of Police Saheb Ali Pathan, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohammad Lutfar Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sajal Kumar Sarkar and other officials of the district police were present at the time.Reacting to being the best Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Model Police Station for the second time, Kazi Shah Newaz told Daily Morning Glory, “I have always been steadfast in maintaining law and order and serving the people under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police Sir.I love work and responsibility, so receiving awards inspires me to work.And good work is always appreciated.So this time I have been selected as the best officer-in-charge for the second time and I express my gratitude to my superiors.
