An audio recording of Sylhet Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Sohail Reza has already gone viral on social media Facebook. But the mysterious fact is that within a short period of time the audio recording disappeared again. This has created a commotion in Sylhet. It has been learned that the senior police officer stood in the throat of the smugglers who were spreading the illegal Indian stolen goods in different parts of the country by vehicles through the Sylhet-Tamabil highway road. Since joining, he has been carrying out regular raids to bring the smuggling syndicates plying the road under the law. Lately, in the heat of the movement, the smugglers have become active again in broad daylight due to some unexpected incidents in the police station. To take advantage of this opportunity, they are trying to spread wild rumors, false and fabricated information through social media. The unscrupulous group’s only goal is to get the attention of the higher authority by spreading rumours. The investigation revealed that the syndicate Gosti had secretly lobbied hard at the headquarters of the police to distract the honest police officer. Meanwhile, the Facebook ID of the person from whom the Bhuiphon audio recording was leaked on Saturday finally disappeared within a short time. At a time when rule of law reforms are underway across the country, the Kuchchri Mahal is trying to turn things around.
