Bangladesh Navy Rear Admiral SM Muniruzzaman has been appointed as the new Chairman of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA).

In the notification issued yesterday on Wednesday, Rear Admiral SM Muniruzzaman has been ordered to join the post of CPA Chairman by August 11.

Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman is the current Commander of the Naval Fleet (Comban) of the Bangladesh Navy. Before that he was in charge as the Managing Director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation.
