Father Chanchal Mia (25) took seven-month-old baby Nar Amin away from his mother Kana Begum (20) due to a family dispute in Gaibandha. Then the husband throws the bride out of the house. The mother complained to the Kana police station to get the child back. In view of this, the police rescued Nur Amin and handed him over to his mother.

On Tuesday (July 11), the police rescued the child from Kathaltali village of Kachua Union of Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha.

According to the police, Chanchal Mia of Kathaltali village of the same upazila was married to Kana Khatun, daughter of Abul Kalam of Pachiarpara village of the upazila. The continuation of this married life for two years led to family quarrels between husband and wife. Because of this, on Monday (July 10) afternoon, Chanchal Mia took away her infant Nur Amin and threw Kana Begum out of the house.

Confirming this information, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Saghatar police station Rakib Hossain said that in view of the complaint of the victim Kana Begum, the child Noor Amin was rescued today. According to the later rules the child was given to the custody of Kana Begum.
