Skilled women are the artisans of building the smart nation of the future, child marriage creates a big obstacle in building that smart nation. World Vision Bangladesh is conducting regular awareness programs to prevent child marriage. For that purpose, a discussion meeting was held in Nilphamari Kishoreganj with the theme “My village is my responsibility, children’s life is free from child marriage”. On Tuesday morning, a discussion meeting was held at the Town Hall Complex in collaboration with Kishoreganj Area Program World Vision Bangladesh. Upazila Youth Development Officer Abdur Rahim, AP Manager Piking Chambugong, Program Officer Nelson Soren John Kenedy Kruz, Zefiraj Dolon Kubi, Junior Program Officer Anwar Hossain and leaders of Shishu Forum and Youth Forum were present. It may be noted that the Youth Forum and Shishu Forum are responsible for creating child marriage free villages and reviewing the progress of My Life is my dream program.
