Rohingya youth detained in Chunarughat

Police arrested a Rohingya youth (22) in Chunarughat. He was arrested yesterday Saturday (April 8) from Ranigaon area of the upazila.
The arrested 22-year-old Rubel Mia is said to be a resident of Balukhali refugee camp in Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
Rashidul Haque, OC of Chunarughat police station, said that the young man was moving like a vagabond in Mirashi area. Locals arrested him last Friday night and informed the police. Later the police brought him to the police station. Process has begun to send Rubel to refugee transit camp.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station Sheikh Mohammad Ali identified the arrested ruble.
He said, when the young man was 5 years old; Then somehow he got separated from his family and moved from Myanmar to Bangladesh. Later, for the last 18 years, he has traveled to different parts of the country. He was arrested several times by the police in different parts of the country.
