National and International Sports Day Celebrated In Bandarban

National and International Sports Day has been celebrated in Bandarban through various programs keeping in mind the theme of Smart Bangladesh, Smart Sports Complex, Sheikh Hasina’s vision.On the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held at Bandarban district administration conference room on Thursday (April 6).Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji was present as the chief guest in the meeting.Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Suraiya Akhtar Sweety presided over the discussion. Assistant Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md.Salauddin,Deputy General Secretary of District Sports Association Mujibur Rashid, Treasurer Mangsing Pru Naji,Member of District Sports Association Saching Pru, General Secretary of Women Sports Association Meni Pru Marma, Managing Director of Bandarban Boxing Club Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal) And players,coaches and officials of various sports events including football,karate,boxing,cricket,taekwondo, handball were present on the occasion. At The Time,Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji highlighted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s various initiatives to advance the sports field.She said,Many tournaments and competitions of various events have been successfully completed in Bandarban in the past few days.In the future,we will organize training to improve the quality of the players.This will enable the players of Bandarban to become skilled and enrich the sports sector of the district. On behalf of the district sports organization,Se thanked all the officials of the district sports organization for their cooperation.Also,after hearing the frustration of the cricketers due to lack of cricket league for a long time,Dc immediately gave directions on how to organize a cricket league in the district at the initiative of the district sports association.
