Shrimangal distributed food to thousands of people

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in Srimangal of Moulvibazar, a UK-based social organization Hridaye Srimangal has distributed food items to 1000 middle class, poor and helpless families of the upazila.
Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of these food items at the Zilla Parishad meeting hall on Bhanugach Road in Srimangal on Tuesday (April 4). Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajiv Mahmud Mithun was present as a special guest.
Under the chairmanship of Abdulla Al Mamun, joint editor of Hridaye Srimangal organization and conducted by Delwar Mamun, Khatib Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Hafez Md. Abdul Quddus Nizami led the prayer and prayers at the beginning of the ceremony. Also present at the ceremony were Hridaye Srimangal President Zahir Uddin Bablu, General Secretary Abdur Rakib Raju. On behalf of Harunur Rashid, the chief coordinator of the program highlighted various social welfare activities of the organization through a virtual speech from London.
