The government will fully implement the dreams of the valiant freedom fighters – Environment Minister
Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Shahab Uddin said, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the able daughter of the Father of the Nation, is working tirelessly day and night to fulfill the dreams of Bangabandhu and the valiant freedom fighters. He made Bangladesh a middle income country. Now working to build a developed and prosperous Smart Bangladesh. Once again in power, the dreams of the brave freedom fighters will be fully implemented. Stating that the blood of the martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain, the Minister said that the streets of the area will be named after the martyrs.
The environment minister said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the unveiling ceremony of the memorial plaque built in the memory of the martyrs of the great liberation war in South Shahbazpur Gholsa village of Barlekha upazila of Moulvibazar on Friday.
The Environment Minister said that those who came to power after the killing of the Father of the Nation, wanted to erase the Jai Bangla slogan and the correct history of the country. They did not want to keep the sign of liberation war. If the anti-liberation forces come back to power, the ongoing development progress of the country will be destroyed. Everyone should be careful about them.
Barlekha Upazila Parishad Chairman Shoeb Ahmad, Barlekha Upazila Awami League Acting General Secretary and former Upazila Parishad Chairman Rafiqul Islam Sundar, Assistant Commissioner Land Jahangir Hossain were present in the event.
The minister then laid the foundation stone for the paving of the East Gulua Via West Gulua road from Daserbazar-Fakirbazar road of Baralekha upazila. In another event he distributed the prizes of the final game of Cricket League-2023 organized at the PC high school ground organised by Baralekha COAB Branch and attended the opening ceremony of Youth Theater Festival and Book Fair-2023 organized by Tarunya Natyakla at Zilla Parishad Auditorium.
