Although A.League talks about democracy, there is no democracy in the country: GM Quader
Chairman of Jatiya Party and Deputy Leader of Opposition GM Quader said that although Awami League talks about democracy, there is no democracy in the country. Dictatorship is going on in the country.
He said these things while attending a family function at Jamirtta village of Manikganj’s Singair upazila on Saturday (February 18) at the house of former parliament member and party presidium member SM Abdul Mannan.
GM Quader also said, Awami League said it will eliminate corruption. It has reached such a stage that corruption is increasing, now corruption has entered every corner of the country. We are doing politics to ensure good governance in the country. Now instead of the suppression of the wicked, the fostering of virtue is going on. If only people’s faces change through elections, the country’s fortunes will not return. If the face of the people changes, and extortion, factionalism, corruption and misrule continue, it will not benefit the people of the country.
GM Quader also said that there is no honor in being an MP-minister in Daya-Dakshina. True honor lies in being elected by the people. We want people’s voting rights to be guaranteed. Whatever the outcome of the election, it doesn’t matter. The Jatiya Party is working in an organizational manner to field a single candidate for 300 seats in the upcoming National Assembly elections. However, when the election is near, the final decision will be taken on how to nominate candidates.
Jatiya Party Secretary General Mojibul Haque Chunnu, Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader’s wife Sherifa Quader MP, Jatiya Party Presidium Member SM Abdul Mannan, Presidium Member Haji Saifuddin Milan, Presidium Member Mir Abdus Sabur Asud, Office Secretary Sultan Mahmud, Organizing Secretary Humayun were present. Kabir Khan, National Youth Solidarity Central President Hussain Maqbool, General Secretary Ahad U Chowdhury, District Jatiya Party General Secretary Advocate Hasan Saeed and others.
