Police arrested husband and wife with drug injection in Gobindganj of Gaibandha.

Locals said that on Friday afternoon, a team of Gobindganj police station set up a check post in front of the Panthapara potato store on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway and searched a passenger bus going to Bogra, Suman (28) and his wife Akhi Begum (21) with 1,500 pitch of the drug “Bluprenorphine” injection. )’ was arrested.

The arrested are Suman (28) son of Abul Kashem of North Muradpur village of Nawabganj upazila of Dinajpur and his wife Akhi Begum (21).

Officer-in-charge of Gobindganj police station Izar Uddin said that a case has been filed against the arrested husband and wife under the Narcotics Control Act.

He also said that after preliminary questioning, they were sent to jail through the court.
