Belal Hossain (26), a young man who was seriously injured in a business dispute in Adampur market of Kamalganj, died.

He died at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital on Wednesday (January 25) at 6:30 am while undergoing treatment.

He is the son of Amir Mia of Uttarbhag village of Adampur union of Kamalganj upazila.

It is known that on the afternoon of January 22, in the afternoon of January 22, in front of Shahin’s business establishment, Shaheen, the son of the deceased Bachai Mia of the same village, had an argument with Belal. At one point, an agitated Shaheen stabbed Belal in the chest and stomach with a knife. Meanwhile, when elder brother Mannan Mia (41) came forward to save Belal, Shaheen also attacked him. Later, local residents arrested Shaheen with a knife and handed him over to the police.

Meanwhile, Belal and his elder brother Mannan, who were seriously injured, were rescued and admitted first to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital and later to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. Billal died there at 6:30 am on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.

According to the police and local people, they are all involved in Adam trade. They are involved in sending people, especially women, to the Middle East. Mannan and Belal had been fighting with Shaheen for a few days over the sharing of money. On the day of the incident, when the two brothers asked Shaheen for money, Shaheen stabbed the two brothers due to an argument.

Local UP member Mustafa Kamal said that since the last few days there was a dispute between them regarding the transaction. Even though he said to solve the matter, they did not agree and got involved in a fight.

SI Mahadev Bachar of Kamalganj Police Station said that a murder case has been registered in Kamalganj Police Station. Shaheen, who was arrested with a knife, was sent to jail by the police court.

Police Station OC Sanjay Chakraborty confirmed the truth of the incident and said that a case has been recorded after taking the statement of Belal, who was stabbed. The accused is currently in jail.
