Human chain to protest corruption in private medical service institutions

A human chain program was held in Gaibandha’s Sadullapur to protest various irregularities and corruption in private medical service institutions across the country. More than hundred people participated in this program.
A human chain was held on the road in front of Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex at 11 am on Sunday (January 15).
The program is organized by Bangladesh Combined Medical Technologists Association (BCMTA).
Family planning officer Dr. spoke at the human bond. Shahinul Islam Mandal, central convenor of the organization Golam Rabbani Ringku, local Khalilur Rahman, Abdus Samad Mandal Madhu, Golam Mostafa Ranju, Firoz Mia etc.
The speakers said that most of the private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers of the country are doing various irregularities and corruption under the umbrella of the directors. Tests are being marketed unreservedly, including harassing common patients through brokers. In addition, patients are being harmed by diagnosis by unlicensed unskilled technicians. Demand these remedies to those concerned.
