Bangladesh Manipuri Jubo Kalyan Samity, Bhanubil branch organized the biggest Manipuri sports competition in Bhanubil village of Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar on Friday (January 13) at 3 pm.

The 13th Manipuri Inter: Youth Sports Competition-2023 will be auspiciously inaugurated by hoisting the flag of the national flag and 13 branch committees of the organization, ex-Chief Whip, President of the Standing Committee on Estimated Accounts, Vice-Principal of Vir Muktijoddha Alhaj. Md. Abdus Shaheed MP.
It is one of the biggest sporting events of the Manipuri community. Players from different regions living in Bangladesh will participate in this competition through 13 branch organizations of Manipuri Youth Welfare Association. Every two years this sports competition is held in different villages under the approval of the Central Committee of the Youth Welfare Association.
For the first time, the organizing committee is working tirelessly to organize this big sports competition in Bhanubil village of Kamalganj. This big sports competition is flooded with pomp and joy in the central Manipuri-dominated areas. The fields have been made suitable for playing and decorated with colorful banners festoons. Accommodation is provided for away players.
Manipuri Youth Welfare Association Central Council President Pradeep Kumar Singh said that Bhanubil is a traditional village. The work of organizing the sports competition in this village is in the final stage. All the preparations have been completed in a beautiful arrangement.

The sports competitions include Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Archery. The inaugural function includes various Manipuri cultural performances including dance and song. Apart from this, music artist Ashiq Sangeet, invited from Dhaka, will perform.
